1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome! By creating an account, accessing, or using the Homesteading Connection websites, including our Marketplace and Community platforms (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our associated policies (Privacy Policy, Refund & Return Policy, Shipping Policy). If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use our Platform.

2. Our Platform: A Marketplace, Community & Learning Hub

Homesteading Connection is a multi-faceted platform. The Marketplace allows independent third-party sellers (“Sellers” or “Vendors”) to list and sell goods directly to buyers (“Buyers”). The Community provides a social space for users to connect and share. The learning area allows Sellers to offer Courses to users. Iowa Elite Productions LLC acts solely as a platform facilitator and is not the seller of record for items sold by Vendors.

3. User Account & Eligibility

To use the Platform to buy, sell, or participate in the community, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your password and account.
• Be solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for any violation of our policies without notice.

4. Terms for Buyers

As a Buyer, you agree to read the full product description and the individual Seller’s policies (shipping, returns) before making a purchase. You agree to first attempt to resolve any issues directly with the Seller through the platform’s messaging tools. Engaging in fraudulent activity, including payment fraud or chargeback abuse, will result in immediate account termination.

5. Terms for Sellers (Vendors)

As a Seller, in addition to all other terms, you agree to:

• Accurate Listings: Accurately represent your products, including descriptions, photos, pricing, and processing times.
• Fulfillment: Fulfill and ship orders promptly and provide valid tracking information as required by our Shipping Policy.
• Policies: Maintain and honor your own clear shop policies for shipping and returns, which must meet our platform’s minimum standards.
• Customer Service: Communicate professionally and respond to buyer inquiries within 3 business days.
• Compliance: Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding your products and sales.
• Fees and Payouts: You agree to the fee structure (including subscription fees and commissions) of the vendor plan you select. You acknowledge and agree that vendor payouts are processed according to our Payout Policy, which requires confirmed delivery for the release of funds.
• Prohibited Items: You will not list or sell any items that are illegal, hazardous, or on our Prohibited Items list (e.g., weapons, illegal substances, items that infringe on intellectual property).

Iowa Elite Productions LLC reserves the right to remove any listing or suspend any Seller account at our sole discretion.

6. Courses, Workshops, and Learning Content

• For Instructors (Sellers): If your plan allows, you may sell online courses or workshops. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses and rights to the course content you provide, and that the information is accurate and safe.
• For Students (Buyers): You acknowledge that courses are provided by independent Sellers, not by Iowa Elite Productions LLC. We do not endorse or guarantee the quality or accuracy of any course content. Refunds for courses are subject to our Refund Policy.

7. Community Guidelines & User-Generated Content

Our Community (including forums, groups, and activity feeds) is a space for respectful interaction. By participating, you agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, abusive, harassing, or hateful content.
• Upload spam or malicious code.
• Share private information about other users.

You are solely responsible for the content you post, including comments, reviews, and messages (“User-Generated Content”). By posting User-Generated Content, you grant Homesteading Connection Marketplace a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on our Platform and in our marketing materials.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform created by Iowa Elite Productions LLC (text, logos, graphics, software) is our property. Sellers retain the copyright and intellectual property rights to their own product photos, descriptions, and course content.

We respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe your copyright has been infringed upon, please follow our DMCA/Copyright Infringement notice procedure (you would create a separate linked page for this).

9. Limitation of Liability

YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. IOWA ELITE PRODUCTIONS LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, PRODUCTS PURCHASED FROM SELLERS, OR INTERACTIONS BETWEEN USERS. WE PROVIDE THE PLATFORM ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS, CONTENT, OR PRODUCTS OF ANY SELLER.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Iowa Elite Productions LLC, its directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Dispute Resolution

You agree to first attempt to resolve any disputes with other users (Buyers or Sellers) directly through the platform. If a resolution cannot be reached, you may contact our support team to mediate. While we may assist, we are not obligated to resolve disputes between users.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on the Site and updating the “Effective Date.” Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
